Welcome to Health Edge Solutions Limited
In spring 1996, as a result of increasing demands from within the Health Service, Health Edge Solutions Limited was formed to provide a greater selection of tracking, tracing and quality audit trail system suppliers.
With the knowledge and experience gained from the success of our paper based manual tracking, traceability and quality audit trail system, we introduced a fully computerised system in 1999. We constantly investigate new opportunities, and by listening to the needs of our customers and partners, we will continue to produce new products and services to improve efficiency, provide comprehensive traceability, and assist our customers with their current and future needs.
Health Edge specialise in the provision of tracking, traceability and quality audit trail systems to the Health Sector that are designed to meet the current MHRA, HTM, EU, International and Glennie guidelines on the reprocessing of Medical Devices. The systems are either manual, computerised or a combination of both. Our systems are used extensively throughout the UK.
In line with our commitment to continual improvement, Health Edge is ISO Standard 9001 accredited. The scope of our accreditation covers not only the sale and installation of tracking and traceability quality audit trail systems, but also the auditing of those systems.
At Health Edge we believe we understand the problems you may face on a daily basis, because most of our sales team have been recruited from the medical world, which means they have an in-depth knowledge of the issues and challenges facing you.
We pride ourselves on our reputation for order processing, delivery, after sales service and after sales support.
We are an accredited GS1 Solution Provider to the Health Sector. GS1 is the recognised global coding standard used for uniquely identifying products. Not only can we supply GS1 compliant systems but we can also offer consultancy and support tools to assist in implementing the GS1 standard. It is proposed that NHS organisations will need to have the ability to track medical devices marked with a GS1 GTIN, GIAI or GS1-Code128 code in the near future.
